Robin hill - Cable Car Station 

Dalat cable cars attract tourists’ attention by a “flying” trip to explore Dalat city - the city of flowers from the sky.
Dalat cable cars - watching the city from the sky Located on the Robin Hill at an elevation of 1.517 m above sea level, Dalat cable cars is a 2.267-meter construction “in the air” in the south west crossing mountainous area of extent endlessly pine-tree forests to Truc Lam Zen Monastery built in Phoenix mountain at an altitude of 1.490 meters.
Visitors take such a good opportunity to wallow in nature and fly above immersive forests, colorful flower gardens and Western-styled architectural villas.
Cable car system which was begun in Feb, 3rd, 2002 and inaugurated in Jan, 24th 2003 and officially put in operation in Feb, 1st 2003 was designed and installed by Doppelmayr Inc. (Switzerland and Italy).
The system with 50 automatically cabins has a capacity of 900 participation/ hour so that visitors can take pleasure in impressive mountains and pine forests in the Highlands, or fly above immense pine forests to breathe cool fresh air of Dalat city.

On the Robin Hill (an area of 15.000 m2), a cable car station is equipped with safely modern facilities to ensure tourists’ safety.

Located beside national road 20th, 5 km from downtown of Dalat, Datanla tourist site has an area of 312ha set amidst the preservation forests.

Datanla used to be called “Da Tam N’nha” by the native people. The K'Ho who had been living there told that: in the old time, fairies usually came there to take a bath. But people didn’t know that there was a stream under the leaves there. So, when native people discovered the water under the leaves”. Later, the word “Da Tam N’nha’ was pronounced to “Datania” and then changed to “Datanla”. It has become the official name until now.

At the foot of the waterfall, Datanla stream flows slowly through cliffs then fflow onto a deep hole called deadly abyss located between two vertical cliffs with the height of over 40m.

Tuyen Lam Lake, 6 km to the South of Dalat, has the water surface of 350 ha. It was created by Tia stream - head water of Da Tam River. No one knows when and why it was called Tuyen Lam, but maybe because of the grandiose nature around it - stream and forest were close to each other. Tuyen stands for stream, Lam stands for forest. Tuyen Lam is a place for water and tree meeting each other.The lake and its campus have fresh air, tranquil atmosphere and diversified natural landscape. The lake will become a big tourist attraction with the unique types of tourism such as sight-seeing, camping, health caring, trekking, mountain climbing, fishing, visiting revolutionary base and other activities for sport and recreation, especially eco-tourism.

If viewed from the cable car or seen from above, Tuyen Lam Lake is as a miniature ocean with each oasis on the lake is a continent, when choosing type of yacht to explore the lake, you will feel the immensity between sky and water surface, feeling completely immersed in nature, relax completely. And from that perspective, you will discover a very different Dalat. Slope, hills look like higher, space is vast and spreads over.

Otherwise known as the “Crazy House,” this Gaudi-meets-Sesame Street theme park is one not to miss. It’s a wild mass of wood and wire fashioned into the shape of a giant tree house and smoothed over in concrete. It sounds simple, but there’s a vision to this chaos; just ask the eccentric owner/proprietor and chief architect, Ms. Dang Viet Nga. Daughter of aristocracy, Ms. Nga is well heeled after early schooling in China and has a degree in architecture from university in Moscow.
In Dalat she has been inspired to undertake this shrine to the curved line, what she calls an essential mingling of nature and people. The locals deem her eccentric for some reason, but she’s just misunderstood; don’t pass up any opportunity to have a chat with the architect herself. Also called Hang Nga Villa
On a visit here, you’ll follow a helpful guide and are sure to have fun clambering around the concrete ladders, tunnels, and hollowed-out nooks, and in the unique “theme” rooms of this huge fantasy tree trunk. It’s an actual guesthouse, too. There’s a small family shrine in a large common area at the back. It all spoke to me about Vietnam’s refreshingly lax zoning laws, but to many it’s an interesting, evolving piece of pop art. This is a fun visit.

What passengers need to do before departure:

- Passenger are recommended to be at the meeting point for pick up on time.

- Each passenger can carry on board a free baggage of maximum weight of 25 kg.
